I don’t actually want to write a letter because I don’t have enough information about the issue, but I just heard that Biondi did not renew the contract with Whalen security, and now in upperclassmen res halls/apartments there will be no day time desk workers and only students at night. I think this is an issue that needs to have a major article written about; this seems like a blatant disregard for student safety and security! Living in Saint Louis city this scares me that anyone could enter and walk right up to the doors of students rooms. Did Biondi forget that just last year we got an email from DPS that a sex offender had gotten into Pius Library? What will stop him from entering residence halls now?
