The U. City Loop

Walking down Delmar Boulevard, you’ll be stepping on the stars
of St. Louis as you journey on St. Louis’ Walk of Fame. Several
famous St. Louis natives have been immortalized like Yogi Berra,
T.S. Eliot, Sara Teasdale, Tennessee Williams and Pierre Laclede,
St. Louis’ founder and first citizen. Each of these remarkable
individuals have made profound impressions not only in their
fields, but on this city as well.

But there’s more to the Loop than just some stars on Delmar
Boulevard. The Loop has become one of the most hip and trendy
places to visit with a wide range of eclectic shops, boutiques,
restaurants and entertainment venues.

If you crave music and love those old hard-to-find albums stop
by Vintage Vinyl (6610 Delmar, 721-4096). They carry a wide
selection of music genres, including pop, rock, rap, R&B and
reggae. You can buy new or used CDs, DVDs or LPs.

recording studio space, music-oriented shirts and underground CDs

various local and national acts at The Pageant (6161 Delmar,
726-6161). Upcoming performances include the Ticketmaster New Music
Spotlight featuring Brett Daniels, Steve Bequette, The Hatch and
Side of Fives on Friday, Sept. 24. The show begins at 8 p.m., doors
open at 7 p.m., with a $5 cover at the door. On Saturday, Sept. 25,
Budweiser True Music presents comedian Kathleen Madigan. The show
