Detroit Mercy Parking Lot
While on patrol, a DPS officer discovered a vehicle with a window broken out. The owner of the vehicle, a student, was contacted and she reported that a book bag and radar detector had been taken. City P.D. was contacted and filed a report.

An employee reported the theft of two credit cards from her wallet, which was in her office.

DPS officers arrested a subject for trespassing in the Caroline Building. The subject, who is a chronic offender, was turned over to SLPD.

A student reported that person(s) unknown entered her car, damaged the steering column and took five dollars from the ashtray. She was advised to notify SLPD and file a report.

A student reported his gym bag and its contents were stolen from the men’s locker room while he was away from the locker. A search of the area yielded negative results.

Compton/Olive Garage
Between 12/10/99 and 12/31/99, a student’s vehicle was broken into while parked at the above location. The break-in was discovered by DPS on 12/31/99 but they were unable to locate the owner at that time. The owner returned to the vehicle on 1/8/00 and stated that a cellular phone was missing. The driver’s side window had been broken out.

A student reported that person(s) unknown took $350.00 in cash from her purse, which was in her unlocked bedroom. The purse was unattended in plain view.
