Assault 3rd Degree
3642 Laclede (City Sidewalk)
A male student was walking home on Laclede when two subjects, not affiliated with the University, jumped out of a vehicle and began punching him. The student said that he had earlier been in an altercation with the subjects over a football game at Humphrey’s Bar & Grill. The city police department was contacted, and the subjects were arrested for 3rd degree assault. The student was taken to SLU Emergency Room and treated for a sprained arm and shoulder. Warrants were later refused by the Circuit Attorney’s office.
