1919 S. Grand (City Street)
An employee reported that person(s) unknown had broken into her vehicle as she was helping her son, who is a SLU student, move into the Saum Apartments. Her cellular phone was taken. The theft was reported to SLPD and the phone company.

A student reported that she had left her purse in a classroom and when she returned a short time later to get it, it was gone. A search of the area yielded negative results.

Trespassing
DeMattias Hall
While on patrol, a DPS officer observed two individuals loading tables onto a truck parked behind the building. Upon investigating, it was determined that the individuals, who are not affiliated with the University, thought the tables were being thrown away. A REJIS check of the subjects revealed that one of them had multiple warrants for his arrest, including one for burglary. The subject with the warrants was arrested and turned over to SLPD. The other subject was released after the tables were returned to where they were found.

A University employee reported that license plates stickers had been taken from two University vehicles. There were no witnesses to the theft.

A student reported that her license plates were taken from her vehicle while parked on the city street. She was advised to file a report with SLPD.

Assault 2nd Degree
Grand and Laclede
A student was apparently shot with a BB pistol while riding his bicycle at the above location. He sustained a minor injury and initially refused medical attention. SLPD was notified and filed a report. Later, the student did decide to seek medical attention at SLUH E.R. where he was treated and then released.
