A student reported seeing two male subjects in his vehicle while he was walking toward it. The subjects fled. A stereo plate was taken and there was damage to the steering column. SLPD responded and filed a report.

A student reported that person(s) unknown broke into her vehicle while it was parked on the city street. Some stereo equipment was taken. She was advised to contact SLPD and file a report.

A visitor to the University reported that while his vehicle was parked on the lot, person(s) unknown broke a window on his vehicle and stole a camera and briefcase. The visitor contacted SLPD and filed a report.

Barnes & Noble Bookstore
(Property Recovered)
A student reported that on Nov. 9, person(s) unknown had stolen his briefcase containing textbooks and a calculator. A check with this department’s lost and found revealed that a briefcase matching the description of the one he reported stolen had been turned in to DPS on Nov. 10. It had been found in a trash receptacle in a restroom in Xavier Annex. The student identified the briefcase as being his. Nothing was missing from the briefcase.
