A student reported that sometime between Thursday and Sunday, person(s) unknown took the renewal stickers off of her vehicle license plates.

While waiting at the bus stop, a student had her wallet taken out of her hand. The subject removed the money from her wallet and then threw it down on the pavement. The student was not injured. SLPD was contacted and is preparing a report.

Violation of the Missouri Controlled Substance Law

One student was arrested by DPS on 2/23/01 after an administrative search by Residence Life revealed unlawful narcotics in the apartment. The student was later turned over to SLPD for prosecution. Two warrants were later issued on 3/1/01 by the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office for violation of the Missouri Controlled Substance Law (1) Possession of Marijuana (Felony) and (2) Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor). The incident has also been referred to the University Judiciary Committee for review.

Village Apartments
Residence Life performed an administrative search in the Village Apartments and found a small quantity of marijuana, cocaine, and steroids. DPS responded, the student arrested and was then turned over to SLPD for prosecution.

Residence Life personnel conducted an administrative search in the Village Apartments. One student was found to be in possession of unknown controlled substances. SLPD responded and took him into custody.

While on patrol, a DPS officer observed a subject taking the renewal stickers off of a vehicle license plate. The subject was arrested and turned over to SLPD. The owner of the vehicle, a student, was notified. According to police, it is believed this individual is responsible for numerous license renewal tag thefts in the area.
