A student reported that the license renewal stickers were missing from her vehicle’s license plates.

Tampering in the First Degree

3400 Lafayette (2 Arrests)

A DPS officer observed two subjects abandon the car they were driving when it hit a parked vehicle.

The two subjects boarded a Bi-State bus that was headed north on Grand. The DPS mobile unit continued to follow the bus and information was relayed to SLPD.

A REJIS check of the abandoned vehicle revealed it had been stolen. When the bus stopped in front of the BMC, the subjects exited and were then arrested. SLPD responded and took both subjects into custody.

The abandoned vehicle had earlier been stolen from a service station lot at Grand and Gravois.

Person(s) unknown broke into a student’s vehicle and took a amplifier and speakers.

Auto Theft

A student reported he parked his vehicle on the lot and upon returning, found it was missing. He was advised to file a report with SLPD. There were no known witnesses to the theft.
