An employee reported that sometime during the last month, person(s) unknown stole a large amount of video and electronic equipment from a storage area.

An employee reported that person(s) unknown had stolen the license renewal stickers from the license plate of a University owned vehicle.

A student reported that a rear passenger side window was open and two sweaters and a gym bag were missing.

A student reported that a cellular phone was missing from her backpack.

VMCSL (Marijuana)

Residence Life contacted DPS regarding an odor of marijuana coming from a room. After investigating, DPS and Residence Life determined that a student was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, and it was seized. The student is being referred to the Judiciary Committee.

Sunday, Sept. 30

Assault 3rd Degree

Quad 1

DPS responded to a fight in Quad 1 where they located the victims of the incident. Two students who were involved in the incident had fled the scene prior to the arrival of DPS. The fight occurred after members of a wedding reception held at the St. Francis Xavier College Church got into a verbal disagreement with the students. EMS was contacted and transported one of the victims to the hospital where he was treated for facial unjuries and was reported in serious condition.

The two students were located and turned over to SLPD and charged with 3rd Degree Assault. Residence Life was notified. Warrants were later issued by the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office on Sept. 30, 2001 for 3rd Degree Assault. The incident is also being referred to the Judiciary Committee.
