An employee reported the theft of some soft drinks from a refrigerator in the research area.

A student reported that as she walked past an individual, he pinched her on her buttocks. The subject, who is not affiliated with the University, was later observed elsewhere on campus and DPS officers apprehended him and placed him under arrest. An Assault 3rd degree warrant was later issued against the subject.

A student reported that person(s) unknown removed the renewal stickers from her license plate while her vehicle was parked on the lot.

A student reported that his wallet was taken while he was jogging around the field. He had left the wallet along a concrete wall unattended.

A student reported the license renewal stickers were missing from his vehicle’s plates.

Detroit Mercy Parking Lot
While on patrol, a DPS officer noticed a student’s vehicle had been broken into. The owner responded and said $35 cash was missing from the vehicle.

Hermann Stadium
A student left his wallet unattended along a retaining wall while he jogged around the track. When he returned for his wallet, it was missing.
It was later found several feet from where he had originally placed it. Money was missing from the wallet.

Residence Life personnel requested DPS assistance in confiscation a marijuana pipe from a student’s room. The pipe was taken as evidence. The incident will be referred to the Judiciary Committee.

An individual was taken into custody after refusing to leave the property. He was issued a City summons for trespassing.

A visitor to the soccer game reported his vehicle stolen from the city street, across from the Hopewell Building. SLPD was notified, responded and filed a report.

Law School (1 Arrest)
DPS was called to check on a suspicious person at the law school. The subject was located and it was determined he was not affiliated with the University. A REJIS check revealed two warrants for his arrest. he was placed under arrest and later turned over to SLPD.

Village Apartments
A student received a credit card statement and noticed a charge on it he did not make. He then realized his card had been taken from his room, but not sure exactly when.

Strong Arm Robbery
Grand Forest Apartments
A student pulled his vehicle into the driveway and an argument ensued between the driver and another group of students. During this argument, a subject believed to be a friend of a student pushed the owner of the vehicle out of the way and drove off with the student’s vehicle. SLPD was contacted and responded. The DPS investigator later recovered the vehicle and an arrest order has been placed for the wanted subject. Th wanted subject is not affiliated with the University.

A student reported that between 0800 and 1100 hours, person(s) unknown broke the window on her vehicle and removed a bag containing misc. items while the vehicle was parked on the city street.
