A hotel employee reported that in mid-January, person(s) unknown had stolen two phones and linen items from hotel rooms. Numerous contractors had been working in this area of the building at the time.

Stealing Under $750

Fordham Parking Lot

A student discovered that her vehicle had been broken into and property taken. There were apparently no witnesses to the theft.

3. Monday, Feb. 18

Strongarm Robbery

Allied Health Building

An employee returned to her office and found a male subject removing her wallet from her purse, which was in an ulocked drawer. A brief struggle ensued when the employee grabbed the subject. When the employee grabbed the subject by his shirt, she was dragged on the carpet and sustained a minor rug burn to her shoulder. The subject fled the area. A check of the area for the subject was made but met with negative reults. The victim refused medical treatment. SLPD responded and filed a report.
