Jimmy Eat World headlines the first in a series of large-bill holiday shows at the Pageant. Other bands include pop-punk newcomers New Found Glory and Sugercult, Breaking Benjamin, OK Go and Unchained. Tickets are $32.50, with the customary $2 surcharge for minors. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
101.1 The River’s River of Toys Show
Dec. 15 at the Pageant
Do you remember the hit songs from the year 2000? The artists of this year’s River of Toys show certainly do. Lifehouse headlines a bill that includes Better Than Ezra, Sister Hazel and Lisa Loeb. This all-ages show is $30 general admission, with all of the proceeds going to United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign.
Homegrown Holiday Showcase
Dec. 21 at Pageant
Unrecognized by most people, St. Louis is a hotbed of local music talent. Hosted by rock radio station 105.7 The Point, this showcase is hopes to display the city’s best of the best before they hit it big nationwide. Such acts include Stir, Mesh, StL, Unchained, Cavo and Flynova. General admission for this all-ages show is $15.
