The week of May 13-19 will be a time of fun and relaxation for Saint Louis University seniors before they officially enter the real world. This time is traditionally known as Senior Week.
The week begins on Sunday, May 13, with an afternoon trip to Busch Stadium for a Cardinals game. Students hungry for peanuts and Cracker Jacks can opt to attend the baseball game.
Tickets are available through the Student Life office for $17. “Anybody can go to the baseball game, not just seniors,” said senior Ryan Murphy who is helping to organize the event. “It should be a great time.”
The week continues with a Pub Crawl on either Monday or Tuesday, according to senior Jay Perry, another one of the students organizing the event.
Wednesday, May 16, is Penny Pitchers at Humphrey’s. “We don’t want to mess with that tradition,” Perry said with a smile.
The next event is Rock-the-Plaza in either Koenig or Boland plaza on Thursday, May 17.
The week ends with the graduation ceremony on May 19 at 10 a.m. in the Savvis Center.
All seniors will be receiving an e-mail by the beginning of next week with the official details of Senior Week, according to Perry.
All bracelets and tickets for the events will be available from the Student Life office.
