Spring Fever is less then a month away but SAB has yet to set definite plans. The event will take place on Friday, April 25 from 3 p.m. to midnight.

MTV will host its Campus Invasion Tour during Spring Fever. The tour features daytime interactive music expo with live DJ performers and a night Arena Concert tour with Talib Kweli and Fabolous.

SAB is currently looking into finding another act to finish the bill. A bid was originally sent to Michelle Branch, but she has yet to reply. After waiting more than a month for her response, SAB sent Blues Travelers a bid, which was turned down by the band, leaving SAB still searching.

The exact location for the event has not been finalized. The most feasible location is the corner of Laclede and Spring Avenues and the Gonzaga parking lot.

Last year Soulard Ale House was the main vendor for drinks and food, at a rather costly price.

“We are doing everything possibly to make food and drinks cheaper then last year,” Tillman said. A beer cost $3.50 last year and we are looking to get the price down to about $2, he said.

Spring Fever will play host once again to an array of fun and games, carnival rides, food and music.
