The Student Activities Board is co-sponsoring Fusion, a yearly
dance party involving Saint Louis University, Washington
University, Fontbonne University, Maryville University, Webster
University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy and the University of
Missouri-St. Louis. This event will be held on Friday, Sept. 19 at
the Pageant in the University City Loop, from 9 p.m. until 1
a.m.
Students with a valid Saint Louis University ID will be bused to
the Pageant. The buses depart from behind the Griesedieck Complex
beginning at 8:30 p.m. With limited space students might be bused
at different times to accommodate the space.
Hypnotist John Moses will be at the Webster Community Center
from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Buses will be available to take
students to the Webster Community Center.
Fusion was started to help the many colleges in St. Louis
connect. The theory behind Fusion was to work with geographical
barriers to get students in touch with each other. The seven
schools try to find a central location that is easily accessed by
every school participating.
Past venues have been Washington University’s campus and the
Hyatt in Union Station. The rationale behind choosing the Pageant
this year was get students familiar with the University City
Loop.
