A visit by one of the most prominent speakers of the year has been rescheduled. Four-star General Wesley Clark will speak on issues of national security and foreign diplomacy in the Busch Student Center on Tuesday, April 8. His speech was originally scheduled for March 6, but was cancelled when Clark was unable to attend due to inclement weather.
The final speaker on the Great Issues Committee Speakers list, Clark is a former presidential candidate.
He also served as the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe from 1997 to 2000 and has experience in both the Vietnam War and the conflict in Kosovo. The GIC, College Democrats and the Center for International Studies are sponsoring Clark’s address.
