Management offers two new discounts to Saint Louis University students

Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.), the platinum selling rap artist will return to the Chaifetz Arena on Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. with special guests T-Pain, Keyshia Cole, Gym Class Heroes and Keri Hilson.

Lil Wayne performed at the arena earlier this year on Aug. 30 with special guests Nelly and the St. Lunatics, Murphy Lee and Birdman.

As part of a special offer, Saint Louis University students will be able to purchase tickets to the concert before they go on sale to the general public.

This pre-sale will begin today at 10 a.m., lasting until tomorrow at 10 p.m.

To purchase tickets on the day of the pre-sale, students can visit metrotix.com/promotions, click on the Chaifetz Arena icon and enter the promotions code “arena” in the box provided.

Tickets will formally go on sale on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Tony La Russa, manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, is hosting the Stars to the Rescue Benefit Concert at the Chaifetz Arena on Jan. 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation and other animal rescue organizations in the St. Louis area.

Scheduled to perform are comedians Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan, country artist and classic rockers Huey Lewis and the News.

As a special discount for students, tickets for seats in sections 206 and 212 can now be purchased at a discount price of $27.

To purchase these discount tickets, visit metrotix.com/promotions, click on the Chaifetz Arena icon and enter the promotions code “student” in the box provided. The offer expires on Friday, Jan. 2.
