Anheuser-Busch Foundation has donated $3 million to Saint Louis University Law School’s $35 million planned expansion. It is the largest individual donation to date both for this particular project at SLU Law, and for SLU in general by A-B.
“There is no better St. Louis corporate citizen than Anheuser-Busch,” said SLU President Lawrence Biondi, S.J., in a SLU press release. “This very generous gift demonstrates that its support for local institutions remains unmatched.”
The donation was announced during the law school’s hooding ceremony.
Construction for the law school expansion won’t start until all the necessary funding has been raised, which Law School Dean Jeffrey Lewis predicts will be in the next 18 to 24 months. The project will feature a new state-of-the-art building for classrooms, a courtroom, the Anheuser-Busch Student Commons, a legal information center and a classic Gothic-style fa?ade.
