A brief note here:
If you want to see the Gateway city on the big screen this week, SLIFF offers two documentaries featuring the STL.
First, “The Pruitt-Igo Myth” will screen today, 11/12 at 3 p.m. at Washington University’s Brown Auditorium. Admission is free, and director Chad Freidrichs and several of the film’s subjects will be in attendance.
Secondly, SLU herself will be featured in “The Gray Seasons,” a documentary by Robert Herrera. At 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 11/15, the documentary about the SLU women’s basketball team under Shimmy Gray-Miller will screen at the Tivoli theatre. Herrera and Gray-Miller will be in attendance.
