St. Louis Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the student found at the 3900 block of Lindell did not suffer gun shot wounds, but has undetermined injuries. Police have also confirmed they are not currently looking for a suspect and no arrests have been made.

Lt. Colonel Ronnie Robinson, deputy chief for the St. Louis Police Department, said “there is some evidence of her personal belongings” on the fifth floor of the parking garage.

“At this point in time, that’s a possibility, but we’re not completely sure whether she fell from the rooftop or not…her injuries are not consistent with that at this point,” said Robinson.

SLU President, Fred Pestello, said at a press briefing “while we don’t know all the facts yet, what we do know is that one of our own is lying in the hospital instead of here, today on campus, going through the normal routines of the day. And that is of grave concern to us.”

The student is still considered in critical condition at a local hospital, but her name and other details have not been released.

This is a developing story and more details will be added as they become available.
