Parcell’s coaching style was no match in Dallas

Thomas W. Delaney February 2, 2007
With the final weekend of the NFL season drawing near, I felt obligated to write on the NFL, due to the fact that it may be my last opportunity as a journalist. No, I will not dissect the Colts and the Bears, as too many writers have done that, ad nauseum.

TRACK AND FIELD The Saint Louis University track and field season began on Jan. 12, as both the men's and women's teams got off to strong starts. Last Saturday, Jan. 27, the Bills competed in the Health Alliance Classic hosted by the University of Illinois.

A day and a Knight to remember

Kevin Joseph January 19, 2007
Ever since I started college, I've looked forward to winter break just a little bit more than I did in my youth. While I enjoy spending time with my family as much as anyone else, the real "present" is on Jan. 1, or, in many cases, the several hours of partying that precede and follow when the ball drops in Times Square.

Tony Meale January 19, 2007

Men’s basktball splis pair of conference games

Matt Auxier January 19, 2007
Saint Louis University's conference showdowns last week proved to be a tale of two cities, as the men's basketball team cruised to a dominating victory at home, but fell in a shootout in Philadelphia. The Billikens ran away with the game early against Xavier and were never really pushed by the Musketeers.

Who will be Miami-bound come Sunday? Belichick and the Big Easy

Andrew Pollock January 19, 2007
The road to the Super Bowl comes to its final stop this weekend as conference champions will be crowned at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis and Soldier Field in Chicago. It's hard to imagine these games being more exciting than those of the last weekend, but we can certainly hope.

Foul play at the line costs SLU

John Warmuth December 7, 2006
For the men's basketball team, the charity stripe provided little relief on Saturday. In a very winnable game on the road against Southern Illinois, the Saint Louis University Men's Basketball Team's poor free-throw shooting and lack of crucial rebounding were reflected in the final score, 65-56.

Irvin’s comments on race step way out of bounds

BRENT CARNEY December 7, 2006
Think you're a big sports fan? Let me test your knowledge. True or false: Two Mondays ago, former Dallas Cowboy and current ESPN analyst Michael Irvin questioned whether current Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's athleticism could be traced to the presence of African blood in his family lineage.

More to the bowl season than the BCS

Thomas W. Delaney December 7, 2006
Well, the college football regular season has ended and it's time to move on to bowl season. Undoubtedly, you have read countless articles on how the BCS messed up again and that Michigan got screwed over. Or the opposite, that Florida most deserved to play The Ohio State University in the BCS Championship game.
