Boeing President and Chief Operating Officer Harry C. Stonecipher will speak on the “Future of Technology” at the inaugural Parks College of Engineering and Aviation Distinguished Speaker Series on Tuesday, May 2.
The event will take place at 7:30 a.m. in the Saint Louis Room of the Busch Memorial Center.
With technological advancements occurring at a rapid pace, the aviation industry has been in constant change in the past decade.
Stonecipher was elected to his current position in 1997 and his aerospace career spans more than 40 years.
Prior to 1997, he served as president and chief executive officer of McDonnell Douglas Corp. In that position, he represented McDonnell Douglas in the negotiations that resulted in a merger with Boeing.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., followed by Stonecipher’s lecture and a question-and-answer session.
