The Saint Louis University mens and womens swimming teams host their last home meet of the season this weekend at the Simon Recreation Center. The meet is at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The Billikens will be on the road throughout the rest of the winter and spring.
On Nov. 20, the Bills hosted the Billiken Quad Meet. Butler, IUPUI and Bradley were the other participants.
Butler grabbed first place in the men’s meet, scoring 114 points. IUPUI snagged second with 94 points.
SLU’s mens team finished in third place with 68 points. Jason DiFani posted his best time of the year in the 50-yard freestyle with a 21.63. He also secured first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.76.
Luke Muran took top honors in the 200 freestylewith a time of 1:49.39.
Marshall Marietta continued to chop time off his 100-yard backstroke, as he clocked in at 57.00.
The womens team also finished in third place. The Bills tallied 53 points, ending up behind Butler (121) and IUPUI (84).
Abby Robbins took first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:01.38.
Kristina Kora placed first in the 200-yard backstroke, posting a time of 2:11.20.
