Women’s Soccer
Saint Louis University junior goalkeeper Meghann Burke and junior midfielder Jenny Kehl have been selected to the 2001-02 Verizon Academic All-District VII Women’s Soccer Team as selected by CoSIDA.
In 2001, Burke registered six shutouts and a 1.43 goals against average.
Her 106 saves last season set the school single-season record and handed her the career saves record, the only record she did not claim after her sophomore season, with 261 stops.
A first-team All-Conference USA selection for the second-straight season, Kehl was second on the team and eighth in C-USA with 20 points (5G, 10A).
Her 10 assists led the league and were just two off the school single-season record. After just three seasons at Saint Louis, Kehl already holds the school record with 22 career assists.
