Wasserman was also named to the All-Conference team earlier. In the season Wasserman made 192 saves, making her save percentage 78.4 percent. Wasserman led the conference in saves for the season as well as in average goals per game.
“Amy had some great A-10 games, and it is nice that the coaches saw and recognized what an outstanding goalkeeper she is for us,” field hockey coach Marcie Boyer said. “Plus, Amy and Cat have worked so hard on the field and in the classroom, and it is nice that they were selected for the All-Academic team.”
