Led by Kwamain Mitchell, Kyle Cassity, and Cody Ellis, the Saint Louis Billikens claimed victory against conference opponent Dayton in double overtime.
“I’ll tell you what, these kids played their heart out tonight,” said head coach Rick Majerus. “They played hard. They did a great job.” Majerus also credited the fans for their support. The Billikens overcame a deficit that, late in the first half, had reached 15 points.
