A Blizzard Warning has been issued for the City of St. Louis and the surrounding area, effective until Noon Wednesday. Freezing rain and Sleet this morning will be changing quickly over to snow by 9am, and the snow will be heavy at times.
Strong winds will be developing this afternoon that will cause extreme blowing and drifting of the snow. Travel may become extremely hazardous if not impossible at times. Snow accumulations of 8-12 inches or more in a few locations are possible in the city.
The ice accumulations is expected to be on the lower side, so the risk of power outages has gone down some.

This definitely means no classes on Wednesday right? What kind of university would make their students go to class in a blizzard?
