On Saturday after Saint Louis’ loss to Dayton in the A-10 quarter finals, Director of Athletics Chris May announced the Head Coach Shimmy Gray-Miller would not be returning. Gray-Miler was hired in the 2005-2006 season. Gray-Miller never had a winning season while at SLU and finished her career at SLU with a 71-136 record.
“We thank Shimmy Gray-Miller for her seven years of service to the University, the athletics program and the community,” May said to Saint Louis Athletics.
The search has begun for a new head coach.
“A national search has begun where we are seeking candidates who share in our department goals of educating student-athletes, competing for Atlantic 10 Conference championships and building community,” May said to Saint Louis Athletics.
