Softball season begins with Lion Classic

Coming off a record-breaking year in 2007, the Saint Louis University softball team will return to the dirt this weekend in Hammond, La., for the Lion Classic. Featured teams in the tournament are Tennessee-Martin, Jackson State, Southeastern Louisiana, Grambling State and Mississippi Valley State.

The Saint Louis University women's basketball team fell at the hands of La Salle at home Sunday, Feb. 10, 61-42. The Billikens dropped to 9-15 overall and 4-5 in Atlantic 10 play with the loss. "The score speaks for itself," Women's Basketball Coach Shimmy Gray-Miller said.

The Saint Louis University men's and women's track teams are set to compete in their second Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the University of Rhode Island campus in Kingston, R.I. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that this distinction is completely subjective. Bills will ‘Think Pink’ this weekend against La Salle

The Saint Louis University women's basketball team will do its part this Sunday to participate for breast cancer awareness. The Bills will play La Salle at 2 p.m. at the Baumann-Eberhardt Center that will be nationally televised on CSTV. "We are excited about the opportunity to devote a day to raising visibility, money and breast cancer awareness," head women's coach Shimmy Gray-Miller said about the "Think Pink" initiative, which is sponsored by the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association.
