The editorial, “Living Up to Leadership,” published in the Feb. 8 issue of The University News, posed the question “.can an administration that the faculty senate has called “fear-mongering” be truly effective?”
This attribution was made without reference to either an official Senate document or a statement by a Senate officer. In fact, the Senate’s relationship with the University administration in recent years has been characterized by collegial, consultative, constructive engagement.
