The Student Activities Board schedules and staffs most of the free-for student entertainment events on campus. Kris Premiere, briefly spoke to The University News about what students can expect this year.
How do you gauge the success of an event?
We look at attendance, audience response, like applause and cheering. We also keep our ears open on campus to hear about how students felt about an event.
What is your favorite planned event for the coming year?
Comedy Central’s Indecision 2008 Tour. It puts a lighter spin on politics and reminds us we are all Americans. Also, homecoming this year will be a big deal, with a birthday bash in the quad happening that Monday, then later a concert featuring Jack’s Mannequin and Eve 6.
