The American Chemical Society Student Affiliates chapter (Chemistry Club) at SLU has been selected to receive an Outstanding Award for its activities conducted during the 2006-2007 academic year.
This is the highest award given to chapters by the ACS. This year, only 28 chapters nationwide were awarded the Outstanding Award.?The award-winning chapters will be published in Chemical and Engineering News and in Chemistry and will also be honored at the ACS National Meeting in New Orleans. The officers Anne Blackwell and Michelle Watt (co-presidents), Jaya Badhwar (secretary) and Greg Lehn (treasurer) deserve special commendation. Dr. Brent Znosko serves as the faculty adviser of the chapter.
Congrats to ACS–just one primary example of an AWESOME chartered student organization at SLU!!!
