Last week there was a premature critique of Homecoming. As the VP of Public Relations for the Student Activities Board, I take full offense to this article written about the lack of enthusiasm from SAB. I, along with the Street Team, spent many long hours working hard to promote the events for Homecoming:

? 3500 postcards for Welcome Back Week previewing Homecoming.
 1 website kickoff on September 3, 2007, featuring ads for Guster.
 2 illuminated directories located in the BSC entrances featuring Homecoming events.
 2,500 Postcards featuring Homecoming events hand-billed in the quad by SAB Street Team in costume with music.
 1 large banner located above the quad featuring Homecoming events.
 1 large sheet sign located in the BSC above ABP featuring Homecoming events.
 40 staked signs located throughout the campus advertising the Blood Drive.
 500+ general posters throughout campus buildings advertising Homecoming events.
 1 Facebook event for Guster with 750+ confirmed attendees.
 1 campus full of chalk.
 1,000 ping-pong balls distributed in the quad by the SAB Street Team advertising the Guster concert with a ping-pong table and music.
 50 organizations involved in the golf cart parade.
 1 SLU Connection website advertising Homecoming events.
 5 Ads/articles in the The University News.
Number of petting zoos: ZERO.
Successful Homecoming Week: PRICELESS (cheesy unoriginal taglines intended).
