To the Editor:
Among the most disappointing aspects of the recent incident involving Men’s Basketball Coach Rick Majerus and Archbishop Burke is the lack of SLU student and faculty response to the Majerus’ public rejection of a basic teaching of the church and the apparent lack of concern for social justice-the most basic of which is the right to life. I was hoping to see 1,000 or so students and perhaps 100 faculty members assembled in protest (or at least in support of the right to life of the unborn).
Where is the righteous indignation of the SLU community to Majerus’ comments?
