Students for Life is planning a baby shower and wants you to get involved.
On March 29, 2008, we plan to host a baby shower for 15 expectant mothers. The mothers currently live at Our Lady’s Inn, which is located right down the road on South Compton. Our Lady’s Inn has provided 25 years of maternity home and emergency shelter to pregnant women in crisis situations. It is a safe refuge for women to learn to care for themselves and their unborn babies. Women staying at Our Lady’s Inn work to accomplish three goals: giving birth to a healthy baby, obtaining employment and securing permanent housing.
Students for Life is collecting new and gently used baby items (clothes, food, diapers, wipes, lotion, pacifiers, bottles, toys) and monetary gifts. Donation bins are located in Campus Ministry. Monetary gifts can be turned in to MSC Box 11. Please help these women and their newborn babies!
