Saint Louis University announced Monday morning that the men’s basketball team will open their season on Sat. Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against NCAA Division II foe Rockhurst University. Tip-off at Chaifetz Arena is slated for 2 pm.
The Hawks, who are a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, finished last season 7-19. The two teams last met on Nov. 16, 2010 at Chaifetz Arena. SLU defeated Rockhurst in that game 72-45 to even their regular season record at 1-1.
The Billikens will open the regular season at home on Fri. Nov. 9 versus USC Upstate. A starting time for that game has yet to be announced.
