Ashlyn Jones, Editor-in-Chief
Ashlyn Jones (she/her) is a senior from Jackson, Tennessee, majoring in English with a concentration in research-intensive English and communications with a concentration in journalism and media studies, along with a minor in women’s and gender studies. She has been part of The University News since her very first week at SLU, serving as a writer, arts & life co-editor and managing editor before finally stepping into her role as editor in chief.
UNews has been Jones’ home for the past four years, and she is excited to spend her final year pouring her love back into the publication that inspired her to add a journalism major. When she’s not in the newsroom (BSC 160), you can find her reading, curating Pinterest boards or hunting for the perfect gifts for her friends.
